An ice covered lense...

Looking at the world through an ice-covered lense is so magical.... sure, it's just frozen water you say... I say its a magical lense to view the world through! It adds an energy to everything that it covers, and of course also brings out danger. A leaning tree becomes a phonecall to your insurance agent just waiting to happen. A black-top highway becomes black-ice, news crews swamp to show films of all the accidents on the highways.

Ice... everywhere I look outside right now. Atlanta is iced-in. Some areas worse than others. It has made me want to snuggle up under a heavy quilt and sip hot-java or cocoa all day long. Our tv is out, and the lights have been blinking on and off. I would bet money that we'll loose power tonight as more ice is on the way.

I hear a chainsaw running... someone must have a tree-down in the neighborhood. Lee-Bones is up on a ladder (gulp) trying to get the ice off the sat-dish outside. Gar-boy is up in his room, wrecking it, dreaming of his next "ice-adventure" with his neighborhood pals. They sure had fun this morning out on "moss-hill" in the backyard... their giggles and squeals still echoing in my heart.

Ahhh. Love this -- looking at the World through ice-covered lenses.

Stay safe and warm. TTFN
