Grown up??

Have you ever had one of those "moments" when you find yourself chatting with someone whom you've never met before, and you're thinking to yourself that they must be several years older than you are? I mean, they seem polished: the hair-style, the teeth whitened, nails done, stylish clothes -- I don't know, they are a "grown up" -- you know what I mean? Like the image you have in your mind as a child of what a "grown up" is, and looks like, and sounds like. And then you find out that they are the SAME AGE you are, and you're left feeling very odd! LOLOL

Well, that happened to me this past weekend at a party. I found out this lady was the same age as me, and it was just the weirdest feeling.

So, I guess I've discovered that I'm not a grown up. Or I'm not one that has conformed to whatever that image is that she has conformed to.

Actually, I'm glad.
