Tide of Water

Today begins the Tide of Water within my Tradition. The Mask for this "Acorn-man" -- it's a very interesting mask, one that I've actually made. It was a connection that I really had made before logically, nor spiritually. It makes more sense to me now.

The Rite for this Tide is especially powerful is by some sort of living water, a creek, river, lake, the ocean. The Rite itself calls upon the greatest of all rivers, and the source of all water -- the Heart of Waters. It's a beautiful Rite.... powerful... meaningful... old.... ancestral.

I find it interesting to reflect upon Water right now considering that we are in a time period where we are greatly lacking for rain at the moment! The soil in my yard is cracking, the grass is brown, and the earth is thirsting. So, I contemplate water.... and further the blood in my body, and the water in my cells.... all the way back to the womb, and the great waters of the world.

I truly hope that this time period can be one where we may see some increase of rain.... and if not, I'll continue to contemplate further, deeper, and see what other gifts this Tide may offer. I wish you blessings.
