Tide of Earth

Today is the "Tide of Earth" within my Tradition. The Mask for this is the "home-field" --- it is a Mask with no mouth, it looks like a freshly plowed field, rows ready for seeds, ready to be planted.

In preparation for this Rite, a week ahead of time, poppets of "goodly" beasts would be fashioned in a manner that herbal seeds would be spouting from the top of them, in time for the Rite itself. Specific bread, wine, and a savory are prepared for the Rite as well. Sacred Mountains, Rivers, Lakes and the Parts of the World are honored; The energy of it all is celebrated, and fertility is restored; Offerings are made, and specific prayers are said to our pantheon; Balance is praised, and that which causes discord is lessened.

So, may today find you Seeking balance; may today find fertility on all sought levels growing in your life; may today find the World(s) and Gods, and all of Creation shining as a boon in your Life, and may you give thanks for it all.

My Heart,
Grassaf,

Kestrel
